The "Goofus Technique #1": Re-define a Song By Altering The Rhythm!

 

    

   

Goofus Technique #1: Take any familiar song. Keep the melody and the chords the same, but alter the rhythm. It will give a new feel to the song immediately.

 

 

    For example, play "Joy To The World" using the traditional tune and harmony, but "borrow" the rhythm of a livelier song.
